Azamara Cruises increases selection of add-on land packages

Azamara Cruises has expanded its roster of pre- and post-cruise packages (branded Azamara Ashore), offering 17 new itineraries over the next three years, including six this year.

The cruise line said it now offers 84 Azamara Ashore packages. Its AzAmazing Journeys are packages of three to six nights that feature “exploration in bucket-list destinations through local cuisine, cultural connection and immersive experiences.”

One example is a safari experience in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana with visits to Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park. Another brings guests to the Peruvian Andes and Machu Picchu and includes a journey on Belmond’s Hiram Bingham train.

Azamara’s pre- and post-cruise packages also include City Stays, which are two-night experiences available at every turn port.

Azamara is also newly offering door-to-door baggage shipping through Ship&Play. Service begins at the guest’s home and ends with their luggage delivered to their stateroom or hotel.
