Kensington creates Ultraluxe brand for the top of the luxury market

Kensington, a luxury tour operator specializing in custom travel, announced the launch of Kensington Ultraluxe, a collection of four brands.

The new division marries four Kensington’s brands under one portfolio: Kensington Ultraluxe Land Tours, Kensington Villas, Kensington Expeditions and Kensington Yachts. The portfolio offers the company’s most esteemed experiences with rare access and complete privacy, Kensington said.

Kensington Ultraluxe was launched because repeat customers were seeking something more refined than the traditional offerings, with clients wanting the highest level of luxury.

“Ultraluxe reflects both the evolution of our clients and the evolution of Kensington,” said president Helen Giontsis. “We are seeing increased demand for highly personalized, access-driven travel at the very top of the market.”

The collection has 28 initial itineraries, including a private jet journey through Thailand, a French Polynesia trip combining a private yacht charter with private jet transfers, and visiting the Greek islands by private air.

The experiences are those typically not available to the public, said Edita Sgovio, vice president of Kensington Yachts and Ultraluxe.

“Exclusivity today is not about extravagance alone. It is about personalization and access,” she said.
