As a medical miracle, I’m responsible to earn that blessing which is why I’m running my 10th NYC Marathon this Sunday.

Only a handful of people are cured of epilepsy, which affects 1% of the population, 10% of these people will die. I had 3,000+ seizures for 22 years; 20 every month and 15 pills each day. Two surgeries at NYU removed the 3” of brain tissue causing my seizures; I’ve had none nor any side effects in the 19 years since. Life sans seizures is so much greater quality, and my greatest passion is helping others get cured, too.
