This is an experience like no other. Join the founder of Camp Leakey, Dr. Biruté Mary Galdikas into the wild Borneo forest to see the endangered orangutans under her protection.
You will visit the restricted areas of Camp Leakey, including Dr. Galdikas’ own home and staff facilities. Then visit the orphaned babies and young orangutans and learn of how the staff become surrogate mothers as they care, feed and teach these vulnerable apes how to survive in the wild.
