John Maclean, Royal Astronomical Society
M603 – Valparaiso to Sydney
John is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and an Astronomer/Astro Photographer at the Norman Lockyer Observatory in Devon. He is also part of the NASA Coordinated Investigations of Comets team (CIOC) and was credited with being the first astronomer to spot Comet ISON as it travelled around the sun in 2013.
Jennie Bond, Journalist and Broadcaster
V603 – Sydney to Hong Kong
Jennie Bond spent 14 years as the BBC’s Royal Correspondent, reporting on the Royal Family through some of the monarchy’s most turbulent years. These days she can be seen on a wide variety of TV shows and game shows.
Sir Alan Collins, Diplomat

Sir Alan is a career Diplomat who has held a number of Ambassador and High Commissioner appointments. He has been the Deputy Ambassador to Ethiopia, the Director General of the British Trade and Cultural Office in Taiwan and the Ambassador to the Philippines.
