World’s Largest Cruise Ship to Summer in Europe

Royal Caribbean International’s Allure of the Seas — which edges out its sister ship Oasis of the Seas as the world’s largest — will spend summer 2015 sailing in Europe from Barcelona.

The 5,400-passenger, 225,282-gross-ton ship will depart every Sunday starting May 24, 2015, on seven-night cruises to Palma De Mallorca, Spain; Marseille, France; and Florence/Pisa (La Spezia), Rome (Civitavecchia), and Naples/Capri in Italy. Bookings open on Feb. 12 to Crown & Anchor Society loyalty program members and a week later to the general public.  Read more.
