World’s Tallest Hotel Coming to North Korea

Business Week reports that the world’s tallest hotel will partially open next summer in the North Korean capital of Pyongyang, in an effort to boost foreign currency through a boost in tourism. The spectacular pyramid-shaped Ryugyong Hotel, whose foundations were poured almost three decades ago, will feature 105 floors. German luxury hotel manager Kempinski AG will be the first western hospitality company to operate in North Korea.
